The Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) is a public body based in Greece and the official scientific and executive body supporting the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. IEP plays a central role in shaping and supporting national education policy, while ensuring alignment with European educational frameworks and priorities.

Within the DC4Democracy consortium, the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) leads Work Package 6 (WP6) – Policy Recommendations and Sustainability. Its role is to support the translation of project results into sustainable policy and educational practice, facilitating the integration of new digital competences into formal education systems.

Key Activities
1. Translating Project Results
IEP will support the translation of project findings, tools, and outcomes into actionable recommendations for education policy and practice.
2. Formulating Recommendations
The institute will lead the development of evidence-based policy recommendations, identifying measures that can support the adoption of digital competences within education systems.
3. Strategic Alignment
IEP will ensure that project outcomes are aligned with national and European education policies, priorities, and frameworks.
4. Institutional Adoption
The project will explore pathways for embedding the developed competences, approaches, and tools within formal education systems and institutional practices.
5. Sustainability Planning
IEP will lead the development and implementation of the project’s sustainability plan, supporting the continued use and uptake of project results beyond the project lifetime.
6. Sustainability Guide & Repository
As part of WP6, IEP will contribute to the development of a sustainability guide and repository, providing resources and practical guidance to support the long-term exploitation and transfer of project outcomes.
