Algebra<\/strong> is a leading Croatian educational organisation specialising in digital skills, technology, and vocational education and training (VET)<\/strong>. The institution has received several notable distinctions for the quality and impact of its educational provision. It was ranked 1st in Croatia<\/strong> by the national agency responsible for quality assurance in higher education. In 2014<\/strong>, Microsoft recognised Algebra as the best educational organisation in the world<\/strong> among 3,200 organisations, with the institution successfully defending this recognition in 2020<\/strong> as part of the Leading Learning Partners Association (LLPA)<\/strong>. Algebra is also the only institution in the region<\/strong> to have met the quality requirements of the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO)<\/strong>. In 2020, it was represented among the EY Entrepreneur of the Year<\/strong> awardees in Croatia. The institution also hosted and co-organised the first MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in the EU<\/strong>, further demonstrating its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven education.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Goals & activities<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As Croatia’s largest VET provider specialising in digital skills<\/strong>, Algebra brings extensive expertise in digital education, vocational training, and competence development to the DC4Democracy project.

Key Activity
1. Piloting the Assessment Framework and Toolkit:<\/strong> Algebra will lead the practical testing and piloting of the assessment framework and toolkit developed through WP3 and WP4<\/strong>, providing feedback from authentic VET and learning environments to support their validation and refinement.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
